My Take

This loss showed the Lions glaring weakness: a force in the paint. With the graduation of Bobby Davis and Jerry Cooley from last year's squad, the team is left without a single starter over 6'2. Fortunately for this years team, they have plenty of talent all around that can make up for this size deficiency. Jake Matthews has been a dominant scorer from behind the three point line as well as slashing to the basket. Coupled with Raevonn Mottley's driving ability and Casey Hope's leadership at the point, I feel that the team will find success in their section.
